Welcome Dance in Central Park: Friday, May 23rd

New Yorkers will be out in force on Friday afternoon to welcome everyone to Frankie’s hometown, celebrating his legacy with a free public dance at the Naumburg Bandshell at Central Park!

Frankie 100 presents NYC-based “little big band” Swingadelic, playing sets from 2-5pm, Friday May 23.

This is a outdoor social dance event (cement pavement surface) with a few surprise dance performances through the afternoon. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments. There also will be public street-cart vendors nearby, plus a small Pain Quotidien cafe just a few steps away from the dancing.

The historic Naumburg Bandshell (built in 1923) is located south of Bethesda Terrace between 66th and 72nd streets in the middle of Central Park.

All welcome! Bring your friends!
